My Beloved, you have submitted to me—you have asked me to cleanse and cut away the dross—you have asked me to cleanse and purify your vessel so that you may be prepared for my use.

Do not despair as you feel the cutting away of your flesh, for it is in the cutting away that you gain your victory.  I took Abraham to Mount Moriah to lay down the darling of his heart.  So will I also give you opportunity to lay down the darling of your heart in the realm of the Spirit so that you can receive the better and greater gift.  You desire to be used of me—do you give me liberty to put to death that which you cling to and clutch so that resurrection life is your glory?

Trust me to bring new life, victory, and joy as you lay down your life in exchange for mine.

Though your outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day—your light affliction which is but for a moment, works for you a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.  (II Cor.4:17)

WHY WOULD YOU SPONSOR A CHILD?

Here is how we find it to work.  God puts the desire into your heart to help someone who can never repay you. God puts into your heart the need to give out of your blessings to help those who desperately need to be blessed, especially in a life-support way.

You get to be part of something much bigger than yourself!

God expects us to help the poor and He blesses us when we do so.

It was Jesus who said, "For the poor you always have with you, but you do not always have Me."  But then He said to the rich man, "One thing you still lack; sell all that you possess, and distribute it to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me."

The most profound focus on Jesus concerning the poor is, "The Spirit of THE Lord is upon Me, Because He anointed Me to preach THE GOSPEL TO THE POOR. He has sent Me to proclaim release to THE CAPTIVES, and recovery of sight to THE BLIND, to set free those who are downtrodden, to proclaim THE FAVORABLE YEAR OF THE Lord."

Jesus starts at the bottom of the ladder, not at the top. He starts with the poor and their children. He knows that is the way to transform cities, nations and the whole of society.

Will you please help? One can make a difference and YOU can be that one!
