Dear Heavenly Father, Your Word says that we should pray for one another. And Your Word says that You will bless those who bless Your people. So I want to spend this time praying for all who receive these devotionals so that You might bless their lives!

Families!

LORD, I pray for Christian families, that you might strengthen the family unit. I pray that You would keep mom and dad's heart at home. I know there are many families striving to be home more with the family. LORD, make this happen. Open up a door of opportunity, a business opportunity or some sort of financial freedom so that families could stop going in so many different directions.

Comfort!

LORD, I pray that You would comfort Your people. Your Word tells us that Your peace is beyond human understanding. Comfort the hearts of Your people so that we might live peaceful and quiet lives, not being distracted and hindered by fear, doubt and worry. Within Your comfort we are strengthened to go about Your Kingdom's work with boldness.

A Sound Mind!

LORD, our minds can be such a battlefield as the devil loves to bend our thoughts. Our minds can become so cluttered, so undone that we lose sight of who we are in You. So give us sound minds. Renew our minds through Your Spirit and Your Word, so that we might live our lives according to Your wisdom and Your standards and not our own. As we abide in Christ, may our minds become Christ-like, so that we will stop making poor choices and wrong decisions.

Boldness!

Oh, LORD, how we need boldness. We pray for boldness. I pray for the one who lacks boldness, who is timid and almost ashamed to mention that they are a Christian. Fill them with the boldness of Peter and Paul. Loosen their tongue that they might declare Your glorious riches to those close to them. In our boldness prevent us from being rude and arrogant. May we be bold, yet, humble and kind.

Provision!

LORD, thank You for providing for us. You have not brought us this far to leave us now. Your mercies are new every morning. Your presence is all the provision we need. Yet, we live in a world that demands that we pay our way. So we ask that You provide for Your people. I ask a special request for someone who needs extra money right now. LORD, even though they might need more wisdom to handle their finances more Biblically, I ask that You would provide a financial blessing so that they could breath easier. I pray for the one who is unemployed or cannot pay bills. LORD, open up Your windows of provision and make a way. I pray for the Christian business and for the one who is wondering if it will survive. Open up an unheard of opportunity. In Jesus' Mighty Name!

Health!

LORD, You created the human body. You know every cell and every atom that makes up our bodies. Keep us healthy LORD! I pray for the one who is suffering from pain or dysfunction. I pray for a healing, a miracle, a deliverance from the pain and problem that is causing this pain. We call out to You, our Great Physician and ask for Your healing touch upon our bodies in Jesus' Mighty Name!

LORD,

Someone is too stressed, doing so much that the chemistry in their brain is off, causing all sorts of pain, depression and anxiety attacks. In the powerful name of Jesus I pray for the balance of these chemicals and for the pain, depression and anxiety to be taken away by Your skillful hand of healing.

Growth!

LORD, I pray that many will leave the milk and dive into the meat of Your Word. I pray for the church-goer who has been in church for 10 or 20 years but has not really grown that much, and they are still on the milk. LORD, lead them into the meat. I pray for Spiritual maturity in the lives of Your people.

PREPARATION FOR YOUR SOON RETURN!

LORD, Your Word tells us that the end is near. It is almost time. We must be prepared as You are the Bridegroom and we are the Bride. You are coming for a spotless and blameless people, holy and pure. Untangle us from the world so that our eyes may be fixed on Your soon return. May we not become depressed over the current state of the world, but may this serve only as a reminder that we will soon be caught up with You.

Finally "The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace."

In Christian Love,

Darrel. Beth, Kevin and Janet
