Todays devotional came from a introduction my wife asked me to write on a class she will be teaching in Tagbilaran, Bohol Island, Philippines. I have left it in it's original form as she will be teaching to the women and pastor's wives. Although for this specific instance it is addressed to women it applies to all in the body of Christ.

My wife is part of a team that will be ministering in Tagbilaran, Bohol and Bais Negros Occidental, Philippines. The seminar in Bais is from Oct 23 to Oct 28 and then in Tagbilaran, Nov 1 and 2.

The schedule of events of the seminar classes and dates are posted below. If you are in that area and can attend they would love to have you and be sure and contact or ask for Beth Mason.

As we gather here tonight to discuss the kingdom of God we must remember that God has given us an opportunity to partner with him in the advancement of principles destined to change us, our families, our church, our communities and the world. We must consider then; the changes we intend to see; God wants to see in is first. In our partnering with the Lord for kingdom principles to effect a change to the worlds we will also encounter opposition to that work and need to have been delivered, healed and set free from this opposition in our lives first. It is with the name of Jesus that we affect a change in the world with which we first must allow this light to shine in us first. We are laying a foundation and we are chosen stones for a purpose and it that we must first be groomed and prepared.

Two of the biggest hindrances to your kingdom work are fear and rejection. We encounter these in so many ways and thus we must overcome these by the love, grace, mercy and power of the Lord. As an example to witness for Jesus; a beginning step in kingdom building; is to face fear and rejection. That these people will turn away from you because of even the name of Jesus but yet we must step over this barrier if we are to be effective kingdom builders. We must keep in mind kingdom building is about changing lives and winning souls not about building things that are not eternal and which will rust and be destroyed. God wants a kingdom built of changed lives and your life is the thing that speaks the loudest, as the saying goes,” Preach loudly and if necessary use words.”

We as women gathered here today are an important building block instituted from Gods foundation in the fact of we bear children, this is a first principle that the kingdom can’t grow without us. Now take that a step farther; that is why the enemy knowing we are strong and purposed in the midst of child birth seeks to stop us spiritually by having us give in to the fear of man and what he thinks. Never let mans opinion of you override what and who God says you are in Him.

How many of us here have grown up with the spirit of rejection speaking to us about;

Our height?  Our weight?

The way we look? The clothes we wear?

The way we talk? That no one loves us?

No one will understand us?

No one wants to be with us or around us…

This is the spirit of rejection and tonight through the power of Jesus and the love of God we will expose this spirit and close his eyes and ears and shut his mouth from speaking lies to you to rob you of the value you have in God’s eyes and to the value you have as a world changer and a kingdom builder.
